Stacks of colored glass is arranged in a clay pot in different configurations and is heated in a vitrigraph kiln. Hot, taffy-like glass is then pulled directly from the vitrigraph kiln to form long glass canes. These canes (or murine) are cut and incorporated into fused glass bowls and other pieces. Dark Blue Murrine Bowl. Blues and grays give this set a sophisticated look.
