SierraBella's garden

Tuesday, April 15, 2008. And the new patio. The patio was finally completed this past January, and I've been slowly creating a border. Due to the local deer, this border consists of rosemary, iris, blue fescue, agapanthus and verbena. I've also planted two rockrose, but may find the deer will munch the blooms. They enjoyed my Rose of Sharon, which now resides on the deck. At least they've kept away from the deck. so far! Posted by SierraBella at 10:19 AM. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Sunday, July 30, 2006.

Became tired of suburban life; the smog, the traffic, the too-close neighbors. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. To Grandmother's House We Went. Me and my brother at Christmas. During my childhood my father worked for United Airlines, and was transferred from Washington D.C. to San Francisco in 1962. This meant we usually traveled twice a year, back to visit the family. This photo was taken 15 years ago at work. Traditionally, we had no parties in the workplace, not because it was prohibited, but due to the fact that the workforce had been mostly male in the past. Without beer and strippers, my male counterparts didn't have a clue as to how to put together a party. More recent...

Became tired of suburban life; the smog, the traffic, the too-close neighbors. Sunday, November 19, 2006. So, I received this card a few days ago. Posted by SierraBella at 3:47 PM. And related to Mr. SB several generations back, in the Azores. A nice Hallmark card, but knowing JP, well. Hugs back 'atcha.'. I fou...

Thought for Food

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Very yummy. Aftertaste especially.". It was strong but I have to believe him when he says it was tasty because I did not even get the chance to see his typical, scrunched up nose face when he sips on any alcoholic drink. Seemed traditional, light and a refreshing taste. The scallops were cooked perfectly with a slender crunch on top, soft and buttery throughout. The sauce however was bland and did nothing for the dish itself. Main Course: C /. Good quality, not quantity. With a...
