The second day, they went to Pinnacles, an amazing National Park with caves. The cave had rain AND monsters! And ended the day with some fun hotel-wrestling. Boys' Vacation Part 1. Daddy and the boys went on a mini-vacation to Monterey. It was just about the best thing ever. They stayed at a hotel with all-you-can-eat pancakes. Went to the Aquarium.

Sunday, August 24, 2014. The apples are back, so we returned to our favorite day trip. Silas got excited to see Garrett. He's always looking to charm someone. We've discovered how much fun the boats at Stow Lake can be. A new favorite! Again at the DeYoung. Silas got a ribbon and decided to dance. To "Let It Go." Renzo enjoyed the dance party too. Sunday, March 30, 2014. They do eat something at dinner too . . . No joke, Renzo did these all alone after seeing daddy do his versions. Renzo did the "person" while daddy wasn't even in the room.). Renzo's heart is the smaller on to the right. He's been compared to Teddy Roosevelt. And this is what it's been like for most of the winter. We all need sunglasses. We celebrated a lot of Halloween this year, with a party at Hillary and Will's, Boo at the Zoo, carving pumpkins, celebration at school, and then trick-or-treating the night of. Renzo was an elephant, a triceratops, a tigerceratops (his chimera), and Teddy Roosevelt. Silas was a tiger and Tigger, although even when he was Tigger he was still pretty insistent he was a tiger. Sunday, October 19, 2014. We started by returning to our old haunt, the airport, for a bike ride and snack. Then we went to a birthday party, where the boys wrestled in a bounce house. Then, before lunch, the kids got out the excess energy while Renzo played with a borrowed tiger costume. We went to the Exploratorium. First the kids enjoyed a very expensive lime soda. Then we found 4 Renzos. Back to the monochrome room, discovering the real color of fruit. Listening to sounds backwards.

Saturday, December 14, 2013. Silas really really REALLY likes lemons. We were at our friend's house, and Silas spent a while finding all the best citrus in their backyard, and eating it. Bros at the zoo. The zoo is always a good time. We tried out the awesome new playground. Renzo could not get enough of the spinny thing. Silas tried to join him. Renzo was not pleased. Several of the guys helped peel and cut potatoes and sweet potatoes and so much more. We had a busy but great night, and fed 57 people! That’s a lot of food!
