After the success of the annual Winter Arts Market (now in its fifth year), this is the inaugural Summer Market which I'll be taking part in since we moved to the wirral. Buri Boo on tour. I'm Pam and I grew up in Sheffield, and have lived in Yorkshire up until last year. I'm actually a Hospital Pharmacist by day, which I love, but I love to craft and make stuff just as much. I set up Buri Boo in 2007 starting off with taking part in as many craft fairs as possible and selling online through Etsy and Folksy. In the last few years however I've wittled it down to just a few craft fairs each year and I'm so busy that I've decided to stop selling online for the time being.

Buri Boo on tour. Thursday, 26 August 2010. Saltaire Arts Trail 11th - 19th September. The Saltaire Arts Trail. Runs for two weeks in September. There is tonnes to do and see. I'll be at the Maker's Fair on 11th and 12th September in Victoria Hall. You can also wander through the streets and visit the Open Houses exhibiting art and and craft. There will be loads of activities for the kids and of course, who could resist pottering around Salts Mill? Victoria road has lots of lovely shops; Magic Number 3.

Buri Boo on tour. Saturday, 17 March 2012. After a (long) break and no crafting, I'm back. For those who weren't aware, we spent 2011 in Tanzania working in St Walburg's Hospital, Nyangao. This was undoubtedly, the best and most rewarding thing I have done in my life.and one of the most difficult too. The pharmacy and hospital in general was mad-busy all the time and so that's why there was little time for craftiness. So fingers crossed. To kickstart my craftiness, I spent the morning at The Bowery.

This has been a bit of a last minute thing but nothing like a bit of panic to get your creative juices flowing! So get this date in your diary. I am doing this market on the saturday only but it is on all weekend. St George's Hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed heritage site hosting this event. Expect to find artists,. Here are some photos of the last Summer Market. Which I never got round to blogging about.
