Educational Anarchy: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom: Vices
http://educationalanarchist.blogspot.com/2009/05/vices.html
Sunday, May 24, 2009. Vices All moms have them. For my grandmother, who reared her children in the 1950s, it was cocktails and "pep pills." For my mother, whose children were young in the 1970s, it was Marlboro Reds and Oreo cookies scarfed down with her head hiding between open kitchen cabinets while she pretended to put away dishes. For Gen X moms, it's arguably Facebook (and possibly the Twilight book series). It asks. "What are your favorite books? What five people deserve a punch in the face? Yes, F...

The Arizona Chronicles: Time Flies
http://arizonachronicles.blogspot.com/2008/12/time-flies.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Who would have thought that the second I start working my blog goes down the toilet.sorry to all for being completely uninvolved in blogging the past few months. I think my resolution this year is going to be "keep up with the blog". As you can see, the kids are all getting big. Wayne, Jessi and I have all decided to go green and we built a greenhouse that will hopefully yield many vegetables for us to enjoy. Heres wishing you all a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!

The Salty Blog: Leap Day
http://saltyhedman.blogspot.com/2008/02/leap-day.html
Friday, February 29, 2008. An extra day. 24 more hours. What are you gonna do with it? And why is it not a day off from work? My ideal extra day would include a soy latte, the ocean, Bromley, exercise, my camera, sushi and wine. What I'm really wondering is how many people will use the extra 24 hours to watch the Sarah Silverman. Videos over and over and over again. That video is hilarious! I don't feel the need to watch it again, but I really did love it and laugh out loud. Happy Leap Day!

Wednesday, April 02, 2008. Adopt, Don't Shop. Is what our incredible Saturday is going to look like this weekend! Please EVERYONE, consider adopting your next companion. There are dozens of breed-specific rescue options out there if you think you know what you want. These folks have pulled dogs out of poor shelter conditions, brought them into their own homes, and done everything possible to find new loving families who will open their arms. Educational Anarchy: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom: December 2008
http://educationalanarchist.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Yes, I survived a week in Maryland! I spent yesterday rocking quietly in a corner, in my happy place, trying to make sense of the family I married into. Today, I have put all the information to rest and am ready to carry on! Here are a few gems from the week that I must get off my chest before I can have Christmas closure this year:. 1 I am lazy because I don't work full time and "contribute" to the family. 2 My children are too messy (this may actually be true). 8 I should ...

The Arizona Chronicles: January 2008
http://arizonachronicles.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 22, 2008. After our hike, we returned home to make Waynes cake and get ready for his birthday. We ended up having everyone come over for cake because not only did we make a cake, but grandma made one too! Luckily everyone accomlished the task of making at least one cake disappear. It turned out to be a great day, spending some nice time together with family, getting out of doors and ending it all off with cake! Thursday, January 17, 2008. The greatness of Storytime. I figure that men hav...

Educational Anarchy: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom: This is My 100th Post
http://educationalanarchist.blogspot.com/2009/05/this-is-my-100th-post.html
Saturday, May 30, 2009. This is My 100th Post. I have slowed down on writing some, as the weather has been nicer and we've been outdoors more - not so much material from the kids lately. Normal play at the beach or playgrounds is not so interesting to read about. I have in my travels lately, however, run into some really crazy mommies. I just attract them somehow. So, how does one respond? May 30, 2009 at 8:59 AM. June 2, 2009 at 10:19 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a former Pretty Girl and...

Educational Anarchy: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom: June 2009
http://educationalanarchist.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2009. This is my most recent Free-Range Parenting column. Enjoy! It seems that my household, for now at least, has escaped the scourge of the swine flu. Recently, however, I have realized that I may suffer from something even more sinister and hard to shake – the Whine Flu. It’s contagious as well, and I fear my children are catching it from me, given the state of their discontent lately. I bet my poor, patient friends are rolling their eyes on the inside. Psychologists say it takes 2...

Educational Anarchy: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom: April 2009
http://educationalanarchist.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. How One Really Gets the Swine Flu. OK, I shamelessly stole this picture from my friend Lauren F., who posted it on Facebook earlier today. This is something one should not do in order to remain hygenic and clean. Sunday, April 26, 2009. This is certainly not the most attractive picture of my beautiful daughter - and she has lost her 2 front teeth naturally, they are not black or rotten as they appear here. Thursday, April 23, 2009. As my mental faculties are declining, due to chi...
