Carmarthen Artist: Cefn Sidan
http://carmarthenartist.blogspot.com/2015/05/cefn-sidan-reflections.html
Blog of Carmarthen artist Mark Cox. Buying or Commissioning a painting. Monday, 4 May 2015. The painting above is of the beach at Cefn Sidan and is for my annual exhibition. As I have previously mentioned one of our favourite spots. Great stretches of sand with very few people on it. It is never the same. On this occasion the sky and clouds are reflected in the wet sand producing a wonderful effect. I hope I have done it justice. Posted by Mark Cox. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Barkeep's Blog - Vollsanger: June 2015
http://vollsanger.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 30 June 2015. 30th June 2015 - Heat Wave and rubbish. Thought for the day:"Sometimes, I question my sanity. Sometimes, it replies.". And so after a year of strange weather we now get a Heat Wave coming up through France and into the UK. Today, Wales had its hottest day of the year so far - with temperatures ready to climb. Manchester was hotter than Morocco today. Certainly the cellar is the coolest place in the house. Though the occasional "other image " sneaks through. I understand that there ...

Carmarthen Artist: Talley Abbey
http://carmarthenartist.blogspot.com/2015/05/talley-abbey.html
Blog of Carmarthen artist Mark Cox. Buying or Commissioning a painting. Tuesday, 12 May 2015. The last time we went passed Talley Abbey there was a mist and the sun was breaking through. I thought this would make for a good composition. So this week I got around to doing it. As you can see it is a very limited palette of colour using yellow, greys and green. We have informed them when we were not here and they insist on delivering the equipment on the day we are not here! Posted by Mark Cox.

http://vollsanger.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 December 2014. 31st December 2014 - Goodbye 2014. Thought for the day: ". To the 'Powers that Be', my prayer for 2015 is a FAT bank account and a THIN body. Please don't mix it up like you did this year! As the year comes to an end -. Car put away safely - will not be out until 2015! A tale for not driving on New Year's Eve. Not looking up from her knitting the wife says: ‘Now don’t be silly, dear — you know that this car doesn’t have cruise control.’. The wife says, ‘Now, dear, you k...

http://vollsanger.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 25 August 2015. 25th August 2015 - Tuesday? Not sure I like Tuesdays. Thought for the day : "I have been putting a lot of thought into it - and I am coming to the conclusion that being an adult is not going to work for me .". Got through the night without the use of Cocodomol - though the apparently common side effects still seemed to stay with me causing my morning ablutions to last a little longer than usual. Yes - the day started fairly well. Yup - all going quite well. Popped into town t...
