The Smiling Sandal Runner. Last Annual Vol State…The Condensed Version. July 31, 2016. July 31, 2016. We started at Dorena Landing, MO on the Mississippi River Ferry. We ran to Castle Rock, GA (by way of Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama). It was 314 miles total. 500k. 100 pi. Bo and I ran together, managed to stay together and finished together. We stopped at 29 miles on the first day and were DFL at one point. There are lots of really nice “road angels”. The End (For Now). Tagged Last Annual Vol State.
