Smith Party of Five. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Today was a big day! We got our heat back and I am soooooooo. Happy that I got to come home this afternoon to a warm house! On another note, Madison had a biopsy done on one of her bumps today. She came home proudly sporting stitches. On her toe and a bloody band aid. We now have to wait 2 weeks for them to decide what they are. 2 weeks? My baby is in pain and we have to wait 2 more weeks. I feel bad for both of us! We could have some rocking sledding!

Smith Party of Five. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. What is chilblains you might ask? Well, I'd say its just a fancy way to say "cold feet"! We got Madison's biopsy results today and I'm so relieved! She has what is called chilblains syndrome which from what I understand is a circulatory problem when cold feet warm up too fast. The doctor described it as sort of opposite. Frostbite but one that could possibly result in the loss of a toe if not taken care of. The treatment? Warm feet all the time! Weird feet...

Saturday, June 25, 2011. Let me start by saying I don't do wedding cakes. They scare me. The bride scares me even worse! Imagine what they would do to you if the cake didn't turn out. Yikes! So I took a chance when my friend asked me to make her wedding cake. I don't know why I said yes. Actually, I kept asking myself why I said yes all week! Anyway, It was a good experience. And now that I look back, it really wasn't that bad. I like challenges. They show me what I am capable of. Thanks for the challenge.

Eventually I became so lethargic that I wasn't really responding to Mark. He got scared and called an ambulance, so that was awesome. Packed up our lunch and headed north to Mercier Apple Orchards. In Blue Ridge Ga. It was a gorgeous sunny 80 degree day. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Its been awhile.{in my best STAIND voice}. I have been busy beyond imagine. Life gets crazy and you lose track of time. It seems as though the older you get the faster time elapses! I swear its already almost Christmas and I'm still in SUMMER mode! The intense {heat} and lack of {rain}doesnt help!
