Monday, April 14, 2008. Long Time, No Blog! It's amazing how fast time has gone, and I have not written any updates! So, let's see what's up! On April 4, the Harry Tompson. Center had their annual gala at Jesuit High School. They had the theme of the Wizard of Oz - There's No Place Like Home. It was a great event and over $100,000 was raised for the Center! Check out the Tompson Center. For some of the work we are involved with our guests. Past Wednesday was a big day for the Archdiocese of New Orleans!

Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Enchanted, The Illusionist, and The Last Mimzy. I came back to MTM on Saturday evening and had Sunday to do laundry and relax. Yesterday our session was 'Is there life after sabbatical? It seems that there is! Bill gave a very good presentation with practical points. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. I did Reiki on a man who was beat with a baseball bat and had three broken ribs. The treatment helped him have a reduction in pain. A good thing that happened for him was that his case worker got him into a newly renovated one-bedroom apartment in the lower Ninth Ward. With the Reiki, I am grateful to be able to offer people a caring and comforting touch. I have three people who want some treat on Thursday or Friday - whenever it fits into their schedules and mine.

Tuesday, April 1, 2008. John LaFitte Nature Preserve. During Easter week, we visited the John LaFitte Nature Preserve on the West Bank of the Mississippi. We saw some alligators in the water. The one pictured here was an adolescent. We saw some full grown ones as well. Luckily none of them wanted to get a better look of us and come out of the water. There were several beautiful birds there too - blue heron and egrits. It sounds like a beautiful day out and a Happy Easter! April 4, 2008 at 5:45 AM.
