Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Photo by: Jeremy Okai Davis. Taken in my kitchen window.). Yesterday was a happy day, all of the Strannigan sisters were in one place for one afternoon. We celebrated the return of Candyce with fatty foods and cocktails at Claim Jumper and it was glorious. Today is a little bit sad. Candyce heads back to Salem (but will be back this weekend! My left arm / shoulder is terribly sore from intensely playing Nintendo Wii at my new favorite place, The Tanker. The girl from Mates of State...

the story of your gypsy uncle.: October 2008
http://twobirdsonestone.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 24, 2008. One o' them movie moments. Ashley and I are in my car, Albina Press coffee freshly in hand. Its still dark outside. Its quite cold. Its Friday, and we are tired from a long week of work and early mornings. We want to be at the beach already. I hand Ash my iPod, we are too tired to think. Too tired to pick a tune. So, we hit shuffle. And then, like some crazy iPod magic, all was right with the world. And I felt like I was in a movie. Maybe Jerry Maguire? Posted by lindsay anne.

the story of your gypsy uncle.: November 2008
http://twobirdsonestone.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. So, I've been thinking. The whole world, it seems is in crisis. More specifically, the economy is in crisis. These are the things I have been thinking about. All of it, is wrong. This whole system is grossly wrong. I've succumbed to our consumer society. I am a consumer. I shop the sales, I demand my buying freedoms, and I want what I want when I want it. After praying and talking to a lot of friends and reading up on helpful sites, I've made a few decisions. 3 And, lastly, the...

Wednesday, January 07, 2009. So its the new year and I've made some resolutions and a few lists and I've already hit a few hurdles and I am already quite exhausted and I have all these lists to post and things to say but I can never quite find the time. I'm still here, I'm still writing, and I'll post soon enough. I hope your holidays were happy. Mine were very happy, indeed. I think 2009 will be a very different sort of year. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Apparently getting married equals becoming a very bad blogger. Maybe I just don't have interesting things to say anymore? Or possibly I don't have time? Or really, its probably that I've been concocting up a food blog (its true, I have. It'll just take a while before I actually launch the thing.). In any case, I'm alive. And married. And happy. And dreaming up food blogs. Posted by lindsay anne. I cant wait for your food blog/show. Bring it on! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

the story of your gypsy uncle.: December 2008
http://twobirdsonestone.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 21, 2008. I am absolutely positively freezing. And, I've had enough snow days to last me for awhile. And I wish my heater was good at heating things. And I wish I actually owned hats and gloves and snow boots and jackets that kept me warm. And I wish I had snow tires. And I wish I wasn't stuck. And I wish Nich didn't have to work right now. Alas, my love and adoration for the snow has come and gone. I am now just freezing and slightly fussy. And, yes, the snow is beautiful. I've realized...

I know it looks a lil weird, but it wont be, I promise. Posted by lindsay anne. Friday, August 15, 2008. Event planning in portland: vol 1. All I know is...

Sunday, February 22, 2009. I am in St. Louis! I hadn't seen Becca (my besty) for one and a half years and so Nich and I decided to make the trek out to St. Louis for Mardi Gras weekend. And let me just say, it is so good to be here. Mike and Kelly are here too! I gashed my shin but it was worth it. I mean, its a 'museum' that lets you run around like a crazy person! Twas a good time for all. And, today is our last day here. I believe we are going to the Zoo (its free! Posted by lindsay anne. It was fun t...
