One Man and his Dog. SSWA Hen Houses 2014. Having heard about the success of the Hen House projects introduced by Westmorland Wildfowlers (WWA). Construction of Hen Houses is pretty simple using Weld Mesh type wire to form a double wall tube which is stuffed with hay, mounted to a board and then fastened to a post(s) to raise it off the ground. One Man and his Dog. South Solway Wildfowlers Association. The South Solway Wildfowlers Association is a BASC affiliated wildfowling club based on the English Side of the Solway Firth. Membership is open to those who are interested in the objects of the SSWA and who reside in the old County of Cumberland. At the discretion of the Committee persons from outside our boundaries may be admitted as Associate Members. The SSWA also makes available a limited number of temporary visitors permits.

Associate membership of the SSWA may be available to those residing outside the old county of Cumberland however priority is given to local applicants on the waiting list for Full membership.
