IJ-8 Conference: Weather
http://ij8.innovationjournalism.org/p/weather.html
Students give Stanford overwhelmingly positive marks for weather. With the exception of winter, it is pretty much always sunny on campus, but still in the perfectly comfortable 60–75 degree range. Winters can be rainy, but it varies year to year. Summers can actually get pretty hot, but humidity is always reasonably low. In general, the weather is great. Stanford Weather Forecast, CA. IJ-8 Communication Track: Comm Mission
http://ij8com.innovationjournalism.org/p/comm-mission.html
Society depends on innovation to create our common future. Innovation itself is a creative process, where the “old” is being replaced by the “new”. This creative destruction acts as an eternal wave throughout history, pushing the limit on human endeavor further ahead, year by year, generation by generation. The media was for a long time the communicating part of the innovation ecosystem. Is that still true? These are some of the issues we will discuss in the Communication Track of IJ-8.
