Visit to Seattle Performance Medicine. On December 1, 2010. I had a great morning at Seattle Performance Medicine. Getting V02max, LT, LAT and RMR testing done. Fascinating! I decided to go for a couple of reasons. I don’t feel like I’m getting any faster. My race results haven’t improved in the last year and it is endlessly frustrating. I get a great schedule of training but my execution on that schedule has been off. I decided I needed some more data to figure out where I am going wrong. The typical ca...

Jessica Dally's Blog. Blogs they are a changin'. January 4, 2016. Selling it on Facebook. While many dealers advertise their used bikes on Facebook, the way you go about advertising makes all of the difference between spamming your audience and giving people something they want so much they are excited not only to see it, but to share it with their friends. This isn’t all that unusual. Many bike ads have people sharing them or tagging friends they think might be excited about the bike. Facebook advertisi...

On February 10, 2011. I can’t believe it has been a month since my last post. All 3 of my loyal fans must be sitting on the edge of their seat, wondering how I’m doing. In conclusion, it is timing, volume and eating enough protein that seems to be doing the trick. The 15 lb of weight loss per week isn’t unreasonable. Once I get closer to goal and/or run more per week I’ll increase the food. Last bit of news is that I got a new job! I blame my parents. On January 9, 2011. What is for dinner tomorrow night?

Monthly Archives: December 2010. It’s running burnout! On December 30, 2010. For the third year in a row I’m having a mid-life crisis. Ever since my 39th birthday I’ve questioned where I am in life, if I’m doing what I want to be doing and if not, what will it take to get there. Sadly the answers haven’t changed much in those years. I’m not doing what I want and I’d like to live somewhere warmer. I don’t love running right now and I miss loving running. Until then I’ll just plug along, getting in s...

Jessica Dally's Blog. Blogs they are a changin'. October 28, 2014. Metabolism- My experience Part 1. I’ve been meaning to write this up for some time but just haven’t gotten around to it. Frankly it’s more than a single blog post, it could be a book but time doesn’t allow for that so I’ll start with this. As many of you may know I’ve spent the last year plus working with a metabolism doctor. Dr Emily Cooper. Anyway, I was also watching what I ate. I made casseroles and broke them into 400 calorie ser...
