Sunday, January 1, 2012. Like most people, I write about ten resolutions every New Year's and then fulfill two of them. I can't find my list from last year, so that tells you how seriously I took those resolutions. But I do remember writing "finish master's degree" on there, and I think I wrote "find a job" as well. So, there you go, two resolutions completed! Read my scriptures in the morning. Read two books a month just for fun. Write something creative everyday. Exercise three or four times a week.

Thursday, September 13, 2012. Sometimes in september . . . There is almost nothing left of the chocolate you bought. In Germany in May. Like the end of summer. Because instead of the consolation of fall-. Crisp and lovely, full of soup and tea and sweaters-. Will you forgive me for laughing at this description of your misfortune? Saturday, July 23, 2011. When i grow up. So, I've been wondering . . . when do you know you've become a grown-up? Is it when you finish college? Is it when you get married? If it's those items, then my score is win, fail, fail, and . . . half a win? Bro L wasn't satisfied by this and said, "Well, what else. Do you want to be? A teacher, I guess," I replied. But I was a little offended. Was being a mom not good enough? I'm glad I became a teacher. Over the past few days, I've been mulling over the options.

Saturday, May 5, 2012. I'm leaving Boston for Dublin in just a few short hours! I thought I should wrap up my discussion of Boston before I forget all about it in the next few weeks. I wasn't a fan, but it was entertaining and a nice end to a tiring day. After the MFA, I went to lunch with Patrick at CPK and then we went shopping. I love H&M. We finished off the evening at a Star Wars party with some people from Patrick's ward; it was May the Fourth after all (which I only found out recently is a...My bl...

Saturday, September 10, 2011. For lunch this afternoon, I gathered together all the vegetables and leftover things in my fridge that I needed to use before they went bad and started experimenting. The result was this curry concoction:. Feel free to salivate. This dish was inspired by two different curry recipes that my roommate and I have cooked up over the past couple of weeks. I sort of mixed the recipes together, and BAM, the Indian Curry Wrap was born. To recreate this deliciousness, you'll need:.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. A 122-years-overdue library book. It's really too bad that the library isn't planning to collect the $37,000 fine. That kind of money could keep them going for a while after the end of libraries. Monday, June 13, 2011. I like myself, and I have a lot of other great qualities as well. If you haven't seen this yet, you're deprived. If you have seen it, watching it again is not a bad idea. Just sayin'. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. From The Jungle Book. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, January 27, 2011. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. I'm sorry to announce that my poll seems to be mysteriously erasing votes. I do not know why and I'm not sure how to fix it. Perhaps this is a sign that I shouldn't depend on other people or Internet polls to make major life decisions for me. Or it's a sign that you should cast your votes in the comments section instead. You decide, okay? Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Vote to decide my new life . . . Poll to your right. - -. Procrast...

Tuesday, October 16, 2012. New post on my other blog today- the one I don't mind people other than friends and family reading. At least that's the idea. I only made it public today. Check it out. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Charity, self-esteem, and shared identity. Recently, I read Falling to Heaven. By James L. Farrell. I've previously read Farrell's The Peacegiver. And The Holy Secret. I'm always impressed by his insights into the gospel. Most of what he writes is so common sense and it's all scripturally based, but some of the insights still take me by surprise. In the introduction (or is it the first chapter? Of Falling to Heaven. He couldn't find any. Christ bridged the gap of the inability of on...
