all smiles on a sunny day: Oh love songs
http://cathsince2008.blogspot.com/2014/06/oh-love-songs.html
We try to listen to love songs from which we cannot relate and squeeze all the feeling of love we can get from the words and melody. We want the pains of separation and the joys of short rendezvous. But the truth is the love we are looking for isn't here, yet it envelopes us. We are anxiously looking for the water to fill our thirst, but we only find empty cups. I have been looking for you for millions of lifetimes, why do I still choose to live far from your love? With love, Cath. Oh the rain is coming.

The photo above was taken when my friend gave birth to her firstborn. Too bad we forgot to take pictures of her and her baby boy; instead we took pictures right after we left the hospital. When I first learned about her pregnancy sometime last year, I admit I was hit by a pang of loneliness and panic. I was thinking that every body is now growing- stepping into the ladder of adulthood, while I’m being left alone. Still, I’m not out of people to love. A friend once told me that if you want to ma...Makagra...

Grey cardigan and Basic hoody: H&M Dress: Topshotp Pearl collar: Primark Tights and Bobble hat: Topshop Boots: New Look. Layering up different shades of the same colour - cuz who said dressing like a Dulux colour chart wasn't sexy? No one, that's right. Because let's face it why would you. Or else I'll end 2012 with 37 posts instead of 38 and my world will quite literally implode, that is unless the Mayan calendar's wrong, which it. Til then you can keep up with me on twitter. OOTD: Ghost in the machine.

I met Lauren when I got my first job as a registered nurse. She was quick to introduce herself, her big beautiful smile making me feel quickly at ease. She has a way with her patients, she is attentive and caring, and her laugh is infectious (you can literally hear it throughout the ward). To me, the day represented their relationship - despite the weather, they stick together. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ali lamond - photographer. Here Comes The Sun.
