Don't Answer The Phone!: March 2008
http://donotanswerthephone.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Don't Answer The Phone! Wednesday, March 19, 2008. As my second point, I believe it is important to discuss the privacy that is being invaded by the government while wiretapping. While the government is trying to wiretap into an alleged terrorists, they also intercept 1,000 phone calls that they don't need. This is a violation of American's privacy. In 1994, one million calls were inadvertantly wiretapped into. How do they know if they are tapping into the right calls? Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Originally...

Don't Answer The Phone! Tuesday, April 1, 2008. What the experts say? 8220;Fourth Amendment, a warrant must specify the place to be searched in order to avoid random searches of innocent bystanders” (Jim McGee, writer). 8220;This (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) still authorized the interception of Americans’ international communications without a warrant in far too many instances and without adequate civil liberties protection” (Martin). 8220;obviously there were intelligence failures on a number...

Lights, Camera, Paparazzi! Friday, March 28, 2008. What the Experts Say. My experts are the celebrities, government officials, magazine editors, and the paparazzi themselves. The goal was to draft legislation to protect personal safety and privacy in a climate where journalistic competition sometimes leads to agressive news-gathering tactics." - Anne Hawke (an associate in the First Amendment group in the Washington office of Baker and Hostetler). Don't Answer The Phone!: April 2008
http://donotanswerthephone.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Don't Answer The Phone! Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Just the facts/the rant. Privacy may be taken away from the people, if a warrant is not needed. Many of the eavesdroppings have been accidental/ not for terrorism. Wiretaps have been increasing. They do not need to make a showing at a court to prove relivence.Telephone companies that give out information are also invading privacy. The government could prosecute someone based on eavesdropped information. What the experts say? 8220;Fourth Amendment, a warrant...

Don't Answer The Phone!: Pros and Cons
http://donotanswerthephone.blogspot.com/2008/03/pros-and-cons.html
Don't Answer The Phone! Sunday, March 16, 2008. There are many pros and cons that go along with the arguement of the governments ability to eavesdrop on telephone conversations. With the attacks on the United States in 2001, an immediate passing of the Patriot Act made complete sense. With the fear arising in many people due to this horrific attack, the act was justified. However, now there should be some altercations made because of the unjustices in the act. March 20, 2008 at 12:38 PM.

Lights, Camera, Paparazzi!: Subtopic 3- Princess Diana's Death
http://paparazzisimmy.blogspot.com/2008/03/subtopic-3-princess-dianas-death.html
Lights, Camera, Paparazzi! Sunday, March 23, 2008. Subtopic 3- Princess Diana's Death. The most disgusting part about this situation is that one specific photographer took a picture of Princess Diana laying dead in her Mercedes. Harry and William were furious and the world was disgusted. How could someone just stand there and not help her if she was dying? How could someone be so terrible as to take a picture of Diana dead and sell it for money? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What the Experts Say.

Lights, Camera, Paparazzi!: The Rant
http://paparazzisimmy.blogspot.com/2008/04/rant.html
Lights, Camera, Paparazzi! Wednesday, April 2, 2008. The paparazzi are a serious problem for celebrities and the general public. I mean come on. We all get angry when someone looks over our shoulder at a text message. We all get mad when somebody asks a personal question. Imagine how the stars feel. There's someone following and watching them all the time. I mean the paparazzi are terrible! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
