Stitching Insanity: A HAED Story: November 2012

http://www.stitchinginsanity.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Stitching Insanity: A HAED Story. Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Mishra has two.yes 2 stripes! I had been concentrating on Mishra to get the first page finished and for the most part it is with the exception of about 50,000 white stitches. I've put it down until I decide if I want to go ahead and do the white stitches now or wait until I finish the whole row of pages and do the white all at once. Anyone have any suggestions? Stitching Insanity: A HAED Story: Mishra seeing some love and finally has more than two stripes.

http://www.stitchinginsanity.blogspot.com/2013/09/mishra-seeing-some-love-and-finally-has.html

Stitching Insanity: A HAED Story. Sunday, September 22, 2013. Mishra seeing some love and finally has more than two stripes. I was distracted for six months working on my sister's wedding present. Then I needed a break. Finally, I started stitching again and have decided that Mishra would be my focus piece with several non-HAED pieces being on the sidelines for distraction and to give me a break from the over one on 28ct fabric. The last time Mishra made an appearance, he looked like this. Awesome Inc&#4...

Stitching Insanity: A HAED Story. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Amazing that I hadn't touched Catch Me in about a year but then I started thinking about which HAED I could actually see a finish on and which HAED called to me it was a resounding Catch Me! So here she is older pics first then the progress I made in the last 2 days! Labels: Catch Me Selina Fenech Haed. August 7, 2013 at 2:21 PM. August 7, 2013 at 9:41 PM. Finally, the insanity returns! We really should focus on our HAEDs more, they are amazing!

http://krisstitches.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 11, 2012. We'll I've decided that the three day rotation wasn't going to work for me after starting my HAEDs. I've moved to a one week rotation and it seems to be working much better. I actually feel like I'm making progress and even have a finish this month. This new rotation also means that even though there are nine projects in the rotation I won't be posting about them every month. And here is where I am:. And here is where I am:. Thanks for stopping by and happy stitching everyone.

Kris' Stitches: November 2012

http://krisstitches.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 14, 2012. October WIPocalypse - with Finishes. This has been a pretty good stitching month. I made progress on several projects and started some new ones. First up is the Spring Floral Cross, which I have worked on since July. Keeping with my backstitch as I go new method, this was mostly catching the backstitching up with the cross stitching. So far, it's looking good and it is a pretty quick stitch. Should I wait to complete a whole row of pages or should I do the white page by page?

Sunday, September 22, 2013. September WIPocalypse Post.finally. I know I have posted since I unveiled the SSP in May, but that does not mean that I have not been stitching. I've actually been stitching quite a bit and have several finishes. First, I finished the cat in the quilt. The last I posted on Cat Cuddled in Quilt it looked like this:. Thursday, April 16, 2015. To arrange food in an appealing manner and post pictures is called food porn, therefore by extension what follows can only be described as fabric porn! Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I am no longer under "Undine" by Mirabilia! Stitched on 32ct ODL Carnival. I felt like the beading went on and on, especially since I could not decide on whether to keep the bugle beads or substitute Kreinik. In the end I decided (with help from the Crone and her envious stash) to throw out both ideas and substitute star shaped beads instead! After placing the first few, I could see how they would tie the entire project together! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Friends' HAED SAL.

Saturday, July 4, 2015. The Mother has inspired me to try my hand at dying fabric, and I could not be more excited with the results! Having no luck finding a yellow fabric for my next project, I decided this would be my first experiment. I wanted the fabric to look more like apple cider, so experiment number 2. Who knew I even remembered how to work this thing! And finally, the finished pieces! Stitched on 32ct ODL "Cider" by MMC Designs (also known as The Maiden! The Maiden . Moon and Spider Apple Cider.

Thursday, July 24, 2014. I have been stitching away, but as I am working on a gift I cannot post my progress. I can tell you I am beading my largest project to date and will hopefully share by the end of August. In the meantime, I picked up Masquerade by Ink Circles! I was at a loss for what to start and the Crone suggested a Halloween theme (I usually stitch them in the Summer, odd I know! It was just the ticket to restart my mojo, and I have even been asked to display it for sale at a local Tattoo shop!
