Thursday, 22 May 2014. Falmouth Patch (20th May). And a couple Speckled Woods. Seawatching from Swanpool Point:. In rather calm sea conditions. 2 Great Northern Divers. Were a treat to watch in their full summer breeding plumage but I spent most of my time gazing onto rockpools where I photographed Common Blenny. And S tar Ascidian. Sum plum Great Northern Divers. Common Sea Slater, Ligia oceanica. Star Ascidian, Botryllus schlosseri. Seawatching from Pendennis Point all west late afternoon until 21:15:.

Saturday, 24 January 2015. Went for the usual monthly WeBS (Wetland Bird Survey) with Dan on 20th January. We encompassed most of the Lizard sites but returned early back home (as Dan had to find a suit, lol! Starting at Hayle Kimbro, we accidentally flushed 1 Snipe. Saturday, 12 July 2014. Been mothing quite a lot recently, take a quick peek at my other blog for some equally cool stuff! Http:/ samuelmothing.blogspot.co.uk/. Another stupid pun for a title *sigh*. That had been reported earlier (albeit rather distantly and through some heat haze) but Sh4rpy managed to pick one up at a closer range providing decent views as it fed at the waters edge. It took a little more searching but I did eventually pick out the adult Little Gull. And an adult Mediterranean Gull.
