St John's Lutheran Church was built at it’s current site in 1869 and considerably renovated in 1903, with the addition of the side wings and stained glass windows in the chancel. Ship’s carpenters built the ornate woodwork ceiling to resemble the inside of a hull, as if a ship was turned upside down to cover the church.

My mom and dad are fairly good cooks, so I'm not sure why they keep dragging me out to dinner! Anyway, I have a good time when we eat at The Bagel Cafe on Duckworth Street - the employees think I'm funny and I've even been served a complimentary fruit salad while there. Their highchair has a working buckle on the straps - I love doing up buckles! Yesterday, we ate at Cora's. Be like a duck.
