jennings girls: December 2008
http://jenningsgirlsandallthatjazz.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same. A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men. Happy lover of Andrew, Kate, Amy, Sophie and Lucky. Owner of a little life that's getting bigger every day. 183; Sophie starting A...

Tales from the Plain. The ramblings of a textile junkie living in the Cheshire Plain, hanging in there and wondering what it's all about. jennings girls: it's a whine-win situation

Feeding time at the zoo. Its a whine-win situation. And the festival of Kate continues…. Appliance failure is the mother of innovation…. Peppermint Patcher: Farewell
http://peppermintpatch.blogspot.com/2007/05/farewell.html
Friday, May 25, 2007. One of the first things that I bought with my own hard earned cash was a sewing machine. A little Janome that cost me around $350 in 1984. At the time I was at uni and my car was worth less. I clothed myself for many a year with that machine. Five years later I was married and living in Brisbane while my Pete was at uni. I was teaching, so I had an income. We had no debt and no children. I went to the Brisbane Ekka. Faithful machine, we have stitched many, many kilometres together.

Sew Frayed: Send in the troops!!!
http://sewfrayed.blogspot.com/2011/01/send-in-troops.html
Creative projects just not that neat. Saturday, January 8, 2011. Send in the troops! Over the last two days it has become very much apparent to me that I have a serious problem with fabric! Many people do have a fabric addiction - and I am the first to admit that I just adore fabric - but when all your fabric is brought out of the tubs and cupboards and you can see how much there really is - it is very overwhelming! Some pieces sitting in plastic tubs for over 12 years! Bring in Aunty Rita! Doesn't need ...

How the demons call to me | Making It Up
https://extemporize.wordpress.com/2008/05/13/how-the-demons-call-to-me
What fresh hell is this? How the demons call to me. 13 May 2008 in Identity. Writing is a tough job. Creative writing even more so — or for me it is, because the demons howl so loudly. This play I’m writing — I’m nearing the end and I’d be feeling good only all night long I tossed and turned, the demons weaving their long fingers into my hair and jerking me awake. It’s not good enough. Where’s your conflict? What’s going on? What does it matter, you’ll never see it performed. Why do we care? La lutte ell...
