The other reason was because introducing pattern on a big scale would require me getting special permission from the landlord to paint or put up wallpaper. Until now. The company is Murals Your Way, the product is wallpaper that you can re-position (and remove! Without damaging the wall beneath. The landlord doesn't even have to know about it. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The incredible shrinking apartment. Thanks to the lovely site Floorplanner. I'm able to show what the apartment looks like. It's not an ideal layout, what with the useless little dry area behind the bathtub and the kitchen doorway I wish I could widen. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. The stuff nightmares are made of. I've been sleeping well. The ikea mattress/futon is pretty comfy, and even though the slipcover is about as gentle and soothing on the skin as a cardboard loofah, I'm able to fall asleep and wake up right when I'm supposed to. This restfulness will all change because I've just seen this: a bowl with feet by Dylan Kendall. Just because you can put feet on something does not mean you should. Links to this post. Don’t let CalTrans extend the 710 Freeway. We don’t want it, we don’t need it, and we can’t afford it. Too many local cities have already paid the price in lost homes, noise and air pollution from freeways. The communities of El Sereno, Cypress Park, Mt. Washington, Glassell Park, Montecito Heights, Lincoln Heights, Highland Park, and Eagle Rock will all be severely impacted if the 710 extension is built. Stay informed and let the decision makers know that we oppose building the 710 extension in any form.
