Why “Sing. It makes you happy”? All is Calm: A review. December 22, 2014. I was really excited to see All is Calm: the Christmas Truce of 1914 because it tells the true story of how singing brings people together, saves lives and is the universal language. I was very moved by this show and hope (as did many other audience members I overheard talking after the show) that this show can become a Vancouver tradition that could run at every two years or so, giving us something to look forward to at Christmas.
