http://worldojeff.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and jaundiced observations of a single guy over 40 under the magical desert skies of Palm Springs. Aircraft, architecture, automobiles. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. From October 2008, written on the eve of the Passage of Prop. 8. Reposting in honor of today's Supreme Court decision:. I saw him last week and gingerly asked if there was any more discussion on the subject. "Oh, we did it", he replied. "We got married". "What? How did that happen? Ed asked, and was told that they could ...

The trials, tribulations and jaundiced observations of a single guy over 40 under the magical desert skies of Palm Springs. Aircraft, architecture, automobiles. Sunday, December 21, 2014. A very sad anniversary to recognize- it was twenty-six years ago today that a Boeing 747-121, bearing s/n 19646 and registered to Pan Am as N739PA took off from Heathrow and ascended into immortality. Clipper Maid of the Seas. The fifteenth 747 ever assembled, Clipper Maid. Moments later First Officer Raymond Wagner req...

The trials, tribulations and jaundiced observations of a single guy over 40 under the magical desert skies of Palm Springs. Aircraft, architecture, automobiles. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Cremains of the day. And there he was. We put Russell on the round table in the family room and I talked to him every time I walked by. But we all understood that this was only a temporary abode that raised a question we had thus far failed to ask- what exactly to. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

World o' Jeff: Whitewall Tires

The trials, tribulations and jaundiced observations of a single guy over 40 under the magical desert skies of Palm Springs. Aircraft, architecture, automobiles. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Her transportation was a sad little 1980 Buick Skylark that had seen better days. It wore an aging blue landau top and a fading gray Maaco paint job, and on the day in question, sat inside the University parking ramp with a flat tire. An hour later he came back from lunch and put her keys on the reception desk. “Y...Subscri...

World o' Jeff: on a sunday
http://worldojeff.blogspot.com/2014/10/on-sunday.html
The trials, tribulations and jaundiced observations of a single guy over 40 under the magical desert skies of Palm Springs. Aircraft, architecture, automobiles. Monday, October 27, 2014. I got up early and went for a walk. One of my favorite signs. Then I drove downtown. I went past the Art Museum. To a favorite diner. I met friends for breakfast. They drove their cool Bill Blass Mark V. And we saw this Oldsmobile in the parking lot. Afterwards we went to the resale shop. There was a sweet dog outside.

gay, christian and scared shitless: November 2008
http://openlygaychristian.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Gay, christian and scared shitless. The journey of a christian who happens to be gay. coming's out, rants, prayers, and general guff. Thursday, 13 November 2008. I’ve been a bit of a dick. In my last post I sort of lambasted my BF slightly unfairly. Well very unfairly. We spoke about it last night, and the more we spoke, the more I realised that I was pretty much wholly unfair. So I think the summary is that 80% of my last post was unfair to him and I do want to apologise to him. What I also started to u...

Whisper in the Void. Yoga Teacher Training, January 10-11, 2009. Fit to be Tied. Looking at the first sentence of this post, I realize part of my problem may be that I am struggling rather than letting things flow. It’s how I do so many things: I struggle with them, struggle against them. I don’t just observe how things are and accept them. That whole “change what I can and accept what I cannot change” thing doesn’t come easy for me. 11 Responses to “Gratutide and Non-Judgement”. Feed for this Entry.
