http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2013/12/let-every-heart-prepare-him-room.html
Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Let every heart, prepare Him room. December 11th and a very happy birthday to my sweet little nephew who is turning TWO today! I'm sure all of you are preparing for the holidays just like me and everyone else we know. Finding the perfect gifts. And eating way more food at every holiday party, cookie exchange, and potluck than should even be humanly acceptable. Let every heart, prepare Him room.". As I really reflect on that verse however, I find myself a little convicted....

Live Laugh Love Lincoln: May 2013
http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 25, 2013. How does your garden grow? I finally got over to Campbell's Nursery and Garden Center. Begonias are great shade flowers and I think they are just plain cute so I chose three different varieties for my planter this year. The top two will be a little taller and fuller whereas the white variety are a bit smaller. Finally, the centerpiece of this project, the Alocasia that I was so happy to have found! I'm quite happy with it and hope that it will flourish on my little balcony. I don'...

Monday, February 3, 2014. Let's be honest - Hi Mom and a handful of really bored people! So if you haven't heard, I bought a house! So in honor of the 10 days that I have been a homeowner, I thought I would share the Top Ten things that I have learned so far as a new homeowner. Say what you want about Facebook, but that was cool. This girl is blessed for certain. 4) Movers are not always right. Like when they tell you that your old couch won't fit down the stairs at your new house. False. Whe...6) Someti...

Live Laugh Love Lincoln: November Unraveled
http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2013/11/november-unraveled.html
Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Even though I definitely struggled through the month of October, and didn't follow every rule as it should be, there are several things that I've picked up on that I think will continue even though I was a little unraveled in November. They are quite good. I really enjoyed using whole wheat spaghetti in my favorite baked spaghetti recipe. It made it seem that much more hearty and filling. Grocery shopping - As I said before, this was so eye-opening. I've found some new p...

Live Laugh Love Lincoln: Traffic Lights and Tendus
http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2015/01/traffic-lights-and-tendus.html
Monday, January 12, 2015. Traffic Lights and Tendus. Tonight I attended a Junior League meeting at the Center for People in Need in North Lincoln. We heard not only from the Center but also from the UNL Public Policy Center about the Lincoln Vital Signs Report which indicates that many parts of Lincoln have not yet recovered from the recession experienced in 2008. Most strikingly, we learned that on any given day in Lincoln 1,000 children are living below the poverty line. View my complete profile.

http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 18, 2011. So this is a bit overdue - but it was too good not to share! For my birthday in August (see - I told you it was overdue! This was actually the perfect size because i was full but not stuffed so i definitely recommend ordering off of the appetizer menu. My drink was a Marilyn Monroe which was pink and delicious. In this picture you can also kind of see Kristin's dish which was a Snapper I believe. Are you kidding me? Pumpkin bread is ALWAYS okay! Links to this post.

Live Laugh Love Lincoln: Be it Resolved
http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2015/01/be-it-resolved.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. What a fun little nugget of a year you will be! Sometimes it seems strange to think that any one year could be much different from any other but then there are those years in our lives where big things happen and we will forever remember that year. - for better or worse. Sometimes we have no idea what kind of a year it will be, and other times we know from 12:01am on January 1st that it will be a grand year indeed! Tactics: Make at least one phone call just to catch up per week.

Sunday, January 22, 2012. You are the Cheese to my Gnocchi. Yes I know, doesn't quite have the same ring as Juno's "You are the Cheese to my Macaroni" but let me tell you, it is quite possibly one of the best things I have ever made and definitely one of the best that I have eaten! I introduce to you Gnocchi Mac and Cheese! I first discovered this recipe on Pinterest (LOVE Pinterest! And then followed the links back to the Noble Pig. This recipe was actually super easy! 2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped.

Monday, January 26, 2015. Oh where is my hairbrush. I actually know exactly where my hairbrush is. It's on my bathroom counter. Broken. I recognize that I can easily stop by Target today and buy a new hairbrush for likely less than five dollars even if I'm splurging on the fancy kind. But this is a prime example of how we take simple everyday things for granted. So I'll leave you with that thought and point you in the direction of Larry the Cucumber of Veggie Tales, who also knows what it's like to have ...

Live Laugh Love Lincoln: July 2012
http://livelaughlovelincoln.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 10, 2012. I am a G-A-M-M-A Phi Beta Girl! I know I haven't written much about my sorority experience in Gamma Phi Beta on this blog but if there's two things I should tell you, it's this:. It was by far one of the greatest decisions I made during my collegiate career and truly has helped me become the person I am today, and continues to do so. I would not trade my alumna experience to go back to my collegiate days for anything. Links to this post. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Now don't misundersta...
