Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! Hey, no problem, just give me a minute. Just as I'm walking in the room to "help her" she mumbles something about needing food and conveniently disappears. Terrible. Was my headache.it's about to get Horrible. This poor guy is very sick and happened to be in adult briefs (diapers). I knew he was given lasix, but dang. He had to be a good 6' 3" and there was no way I could manage this mess on my own. Sunday, June 04, 2006. Panic Attack Of The Aged. OK, so I'm moving closer to the big 60! Now is not the time as I creep into my old age! While visiting my husband in Oregon last week we received a notice to vacate from the condo where he temporarily resides while in transition on the selling of his business. It seems that the units were sold and the new owners want to convert for sale instead of rental. Like I dont' have enough on my plate! Posted by Simply Me at 6:57 PM. Duluth, Georgia, United States.

Wednesday, December 29, 2004. I am blessed to have a mother that is both creative and talented. This time around she's taught me to crochet. It's a "special stitch" but it gets the job done! I was able to make 8 personalized scarves for family and close friends this Christmas! Of course, it's nothing compared to the awesome handmade poncho my mom made me! Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Self Portrait Tuesday-If life was measured by. What would life be like if it were measured by Tuesdays? For one, we would always be taking pictures of ourselves. Since I don't blog everyday, it sometimes feels like I. Doing that very thing. So anyway.how the heck is everyone today? Here's something you should know. Until next time (quite possibly next Tuesday) take care of yourselves. Posted by *aimee* at 5:06 PM. Sunday, September 25, 2005. To view more pictures. I know by t...

Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Knit One, Pearl Two. Ok, so now my two precious visitors are back in California but not before leaving me with a challenge! Joleen thought it would be a good idea to teach me and Aimee to knit. Aimee appeared to catch on pretty fast and I was impressed with what she had accomplished before returning to California. But as for me, knitting may be the challenge of a lifetime. My knitting as a beginner is more like Knit one Drop Two! Posted by Simply Me at 9:01 AM. Enjoy the new look!

too much chicken: January 2006

Saturday, January 28, 2006. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I don't have any shots of our 'IV madness' in action. Anyway, it went very well considering it was our first time. We practiced on a fake arm that simulated a human's arm both anatomically and even physiologically. Well, it wasn't warm but it did have blood flow! It hurts. It especially hurts if the needle doesn't actually go into the vein. Yeah. Well, luckily for us both her second attempt went much better! Posted by *aimee* at 9:17 PM.

too much chicken: March 2006

Thursday, March 16, 2006. That was a very long weekend. I have a lot of catching up to do. Stay tuned. Posted by *aimee* at 10:18 AM. Thursday, March 02, 2006. Goodbye for the weekend. I'm looking out my window at the joyous weather and inviting sun, and back at the books piled high on my desk. The time has come for midterms, projects and ridiculously long papers. The work that goes behind the joys of my job as a student nurse will haunt me now but I will think about chickens in the OR. Dear Dad {part II}.
