Is there any special MSL/DMS hardware required to interface with Switch Expert? No, all data is sent to the SE server via standard one-way down stream RS232 IOC/IOM port connections. The clients connect to the server through standard Ethernet TCP/IP socket connections. The MSL/DMS alarms are interfaced through standard loop contact closures.
