Dave's Allotment: December 2005
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Seed order for 2006. Here is my seed order for next year which I will shortly be placing with Marshalls. It comes to 50, which actually sounds quite a lot. But the amount of vegetables I'll grow from this will far outweight the cost of the seeds. Broad Beans (Aquadulce Claudia, Feligreen). Cabbage (Puma, Red Rookie). Carrots (Autumn King 2 Vita Longa, Sytan). Courgettes (Zucchini, Gold Rush, Clarita). Lettuce (Mixed Lollos, Salad Bowl). Parsnips (Tender and True).

Dave's Allotment: January 2006
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Other than the areas where I still have things growing, the entire plot is now dug over - and many parts of it covered and manured. This is definitely the most organised the plot has ever been. The whole plot is pictured below left, and the Broad Beans under their cover of fleece are shown on the right. Posted by Dave at 1:55 PM. Monday, November 28, 2005. This weekend I also pulled up a handfull of leeks and some more parsnips. Posted by Dave at 1:34 PM. Monday, November 21, 2005. It was a freezing morning with the frost still very much present when I arrived. The steam pouring off the manure was incredible - looked more like a bonfire than a pile of poo! Dave's Allotment: August 2006
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 31, 2006. I also bagged up a load of weeds that I had been piling up and took them to the dump. There were also a couple of bags of junk to get rid of from the new plot that the previous owners had left behind. I then pruned out the raspberry canes that had fruited this year, and they went to the dump as well. They'd grown a bit too high to properly cover them in earth, but I raked up the soil around them as best I could (see before and after above). Posted by Dave at 1:54 PM. A few week...

http://mcarthursallotment.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 13 November 2011. Been a little lax with my posts, so a bit of a catchup. Cleared a bed ready for more gooseberry bushes. Transplanted strawberry runners to a new bed. Cut Down raspberry canes. Took down bean supports. Dug over two more beds. Gave the grass the last cut of the year. Planted out the garlic. Built a new compost heap with pallets.
