Smallandsnappy: Feeling unwell
http://mb1032.blogspot.com/2007/12/feeling-unwell.html
Tuesday, 4 December 2007. We all know the effect physical health can have on our mental wellbeing, I know it but often forget how important this aspect is to me personally. I find myself swinging between rage, the floor, borderline mania and everyday normal existence. Why? Now I've got a fluish virus, so I am back to square one. Never seems to rain but it pours. Tuesday, December 04, 2007. I've had a very hectic week and find myself struggling to keep up with commenting on blogs. Here goes anyway. We bot...

Smallandsnappy: Rays of hope
http://mb1032.blogspot.com/2011/02/rays-of-hope.html
Monday, 14 February 2011. Today the sun crept onto the lawn. Climbed over the fence and tip toed onto the grass. The dog sighed and leaned heavily against the warm garage wall, stretched out and closed his eyes. I sat on the bench, bathed from head to toe, sighed, stretched out and closed my eyes. The Flood of Life gushes. The Hope of Renewal. Monday, February 14, 2011. And, my dear friend, may the impending signs of spring, fill you with thoughts of a more positive future. 16 February 2011 at 02:02.

Smallandsnappy: Human capacity
http://mb1032.blogspot.com/2011/03/human-capacity.html
Sunday, 6 March 2011. I believe that we all need to be able to experience a full spectrum, a life needs dark to be able to really enjoy light, emotionally we are not colourblind whatever we might think .If we have never been truly sad how can be ever know what happiness is. They are the yin and yang of being human and like that are all part of the balance we need in our lives. Sunday, March 06, 2011. A very interesting and thought provoking posting. My dear friend, take very good care. With respect, Gary.

Philip Natty Cooks: November 2009
http://philipnattycooks.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
I would love to share with you. Monday, 2 November 2009. Climbing a Jacobs Ladder to Heaven. Anyway, where do you find a good local food shop. Fortunately here in Durham we have an indoor market, and it does have a good Butcher, Baker, Fishmonger, Fruit and Veg. stall, and a host of other fine shops. Thinking about it, most town markets still have good local traders, who are so very helpful and courteous, (perhaps they have a hidden agenda! Could it be they want you to come back again? Mum didn't have a ...

Smallandsnappy: All a matter of taste
http://mb1032.blogspot.com/2007/11/all-matter-of-taste.html
Wednesday, 14 November 2007. All a matter of taste. I was talking to someone recently about music, I've bought am MP3 player and have taken to listening whenever and to whatever I can. This is quite a change for me. I am listening right now. Mums favorite" she didn't,. Your children's favorite" I didn't listen. Home was a non music zone for my childhood (apart from the Archers signature tune), at school I dimly recollect banging a drum and tapping on a triangle (is playing the triangle called tapping?

Philip Natty Cooks: Curried Parsnip Soup
http://philipnattycooks.blogspot.com/2009/10/curried-parsnip-soup.html
I would love to share with you. Tuesday, 27 October 2009. The thing I love about this time of year is I get to make loads of soups, stews and other warming wonderful fare. I think if I were rationed to one type of food it would have to be soup, it can be infinitely varied from clear and thin through to thick almost like a stew. As well can be hot or a refreshingly chilled for a summer day, and even sweet and fruity. This is how I make it for about 4 big bowls. 1 onion peeled and chopped. Let the mixture ...

Philip Natty Cooks: October 2009
http://philipnattycooks.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
I would love to share with you. Wednesday, 28 October 2009. What to do with a large cabbage. Well I do love cabbage, boiled, steamed, stir fried, stuffed (Julies speciality) or just plain raw; but this was a big ' un. One thing I have always likes was sauerkraut, the tangy European delicacy also well beloved of the North Americans. However legends or requiring barrels and vast amounts of greens had put me off. Any way I started searching on the Internet. So this is what I did. But it must be food safe!
