We went up to the refuge over to 2000 m and along our path we enjoyed a really beautiful view of the snowy Val di Funes. All the trees were covered in white and our steps left deep footprints. Wednesday, 16 December 2015. Even the Earth is Cold. We walk through a completely deep frozen valley, actually even the soil was cracked by the spikes of ice coming out from down below the ground. The shoe soles gave back a very unusual and peculiar feeling while they broke crystals, pushing under our weight.
