Bronze Shield – Tales of Yngiwulf
https://talesofyngiwulf.wordpress.com/2015/10/22/bronze-shield
Resources for New Amtgardians. October 22, 2015. October 22, 2015. This project started in March and is wrapping up in October. That’s a big lapse in interest! But here it is now. It is very similar to the first shield. I made except without the wood grain details. Looking at both, I like either one, so the option is yours. A length of PVC was cut for the handle. Using a heat gun, I flattened the ends before including them in between the 2nd and 3rd layers of EVA before the DAP was applied. Here you can ...

Cutting Implements (Box cutters, etc). 9″ Throwing Axes. Using the throwie tutorial provided by Caliston’s Armory. I decided to make a set of throwing axes. Up to this point, I had only made daggers. With the need to create 9″ minimum daggers, I had to recreate them and decided on axes this time. First, I created a template.

https://talesofyngiwulf.wordpress.com/author/yngiwulf
Resources for New Amtgardians. December 8, 2015. December 10, 2015. Late one night, winds did howl a death song to the sun. Came a knock and a shudder – a scratch upon the hall. Or jötunn come to kill? Heard we spears upon our roof, clatter as they fall. Mothers sleep, children dream as men get clad for war. Armor donned, helmet on with spear and shield in hand. Heard they cows in the barns lowing in their fear. Through the door, into the night, they search the frozen land. Have the wolves come tonight?

The Farmers Market | Randy's DBs and Fun
https://randallsims.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/the-farmers-market
Randy's DBs and Fun. Databases, Coding and the Great Outdoors! July 11, 2009. We went to the Farmers Market today at Mathews Courthouse. It was nice, and low key. There were plenty of vegetables to be had for a decent price as well as local seafood and honey. A lady selling her gourmet food sold us a pint of curried chicken, and we had that for lunch with fresh cucumbers and tomatos bought from the local farmers. Posted in: Mathews County Virginia. Randy's DBs and Fun. Databases, Coding and the Great Outdoors! August 14, 1765 – Boston Meets the Sons of Liberty. August 14, 2009. On this day, about five months following the signing of the Stamp Act of 1765, two hundred forty-four years ago, an effigy was hung from a tree on Newbury Street in Boston. The effigy was of Andrew Oliver, the man to be commissioned as the Distributor of Stamps for Massachusetts. At least, it was a great idea before the British citizens of America realized that they were bei...

Randy's DBs and Fun. Databases, Coding and the Great Outdoors! Fourth of July in Mathews County. July 10, 2009. When we moved to Mathews County, we knew it was small and we might miss out on some things. One of those that I assumed we would have to do without was Fourth of July fireworks. After all, they’re expensive! But there actually was a Fourth of July celebration scheduled with fireworks! It was to go along with a family fun day held by the Mathews YMCA and Boys and Girls Club. Different groups wer...
