Country Lady Quilts: Bad roads
https://countryladyquilts.blogspot.com/2017/01/bad-roads.html
Friday, January 13, 2017. Well, I decided to venture out yesterday. The roads were just ok, I didn't go over 40 all the way into town. I did some grocery shopping, got material for my borders, and headed home. I had one tire that had been losing air so I stopped a gas station, the tire was flat! Anyway, I made it home and spent the rest of day inside. I got the borders on 2 quilts. So, I hope your day is going well. January 13, 2017 at 10:33 AM. It has got to get better! https://countryladyquilts.blogspot.com/2016/04/the-sun-is-shining-and-im-gardening-i.html
Sunday, April 17, 2016. Out In The Garden Again! The Sun Is Shining and I'm Gardening! I ordered my seeds and I am going to plant watermelons, cabbage, carrots, pole beans, beets, cukes, spinach, red globe onions and pearl millet. Most are old heirloom seeds and I am anxious to see them growing. I will also have some squash and zucchini in there somewhere. So not too much going on in the quilting department with all that going on. But, I still have two quilts that need binding. April 17, 2016 at 1:52 PM.

I chose to simplify the background again. I simply pieced three strips. I added the applique, then trimmed the background to the correct size. I made two of these. Still enjoying every block of this quilt. Especially enjoying following along with the facebook group and seeing every one else's progress! Karen in Breezy Point.

Lakeview Stitching: Flimsies
http://www.lakeviewstitching.com/p/flimsies.html
Serious fun with quilting, stitching, and embroidery. I've decided I need a page to bridge the gap between WIPs (works in progress), and Finishes. Getting a quilt to the flimsy stage is a big milestone, but personally, I can't put it in the "finished" pile until it's quilted and bound. And, it's not just quilts! Smaller pieces that just need to be made up are in waiting here too. :D. An original design, started in 2010, and finally a flimsy in 2016. Modern Utility Quilt #1, "Picnic". Yes, no shortage of ...
