Living Our Dream: Mad Men
http://saralovesbrandon.blogspot.com/2012/03/mad-men.html
A story of 2 crazy kids, their cats and a work-in-progress home! Monday, March 26, 2012. No, this isn't a spoiler post about last night's episode - I haven't even seen the premiere of Season 5 yet (we gave up cable a year and a half ago). However, in anticipation of the upcoming season I rewatched the first episode of Season 1 and the last episode of Season 4. I forgot how much I love Don Draper! It was really interesting to see how much the cast has changed in the past 5 years, too.

Some Hot Dishes: November 2013
http://somehotdishes.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Some people work to cure cancer, others are fighting the war on poverty. Me? My selfless act is to help people spend money on stuff they need, like clothes and bags and makeup and, of course, killer shoes. But, that's not all. I like to eat. And complain (most specifically about how hard it is to be a mom). Oh, and obsess over the next perfect pair of shoes. Monday, November 4, 2013. Distinguishing a want from a need. I stumbled across the perfect pair, Jimmy Choo Amore. I may be drawn to them because of...

She Likes to Hear Herself Write. Simply. thoughts, feelings, and observations on being a wife, mother, and child of God. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Stayjust a little bit longer. It's been a while! Maybe I should reintroduce myself. "Hello, I am the Hestermomma.". In Blogland suggest you never break this long from writing. You'll lose your readership. People won't stay loyal to your blog. It is frustrating for the reader to continually see the same entry unchanged on the page. So, yesterday, I approached...

Some Hot Dishes: Dry Clean Only? Really? Are you sure?

And complain (most specifically about how hard it is to be a mom). Oh, and obsess over the next perfect pair of shoes. Monday, January 20, 2014. We've covered the topic of care tags here. I've normally followed that prevailing wisdom and sent anything with the dry cl...

A story of 2 crazy kids, their cats and a work-in-progress home! Tuesday, October 18, 2011. I actually have not to been to Target in many weeks (I think this is a record for me! But I hoping to go tonight to grab some groceries and take a peek at some fall/cold weather clothes. Today I'm rocking some of my favorite Target pieces:. I bought this cardigan months ago, but I'm wearing it today, paired with a grey jersey dress, black leggings and these black flats:. Or, perhaps I'll use my refund to buy:.

The Kauffman Chronicles: September 2011
http://kauffmanchronicles.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Love, laughter and lunacy reign supreme in our Miami home, and you're invited. September 12, 2011. Summer Vacation Part V. The last day we were in Orlando, we ditched the Mouse (one evening was enough) and looked for something more "authentic" to do. Yes kids, this is what happens when Mommy is a history geek. We figured we would cruise to downtown Kissimmee and check out their historic Main Street district, and on the way there we saw one of those brown Florida Heritage markers. SCORE! Let's go that way!

Love, laughter and lunacy reign supreme in our Miami home, and you're invited. September 1, 2011. Summer Vacation Part III. Shame on you if you travel to Orlando regularly to visit the Mouse but you've never adventured to Harry P. Leu Gardens. Set on nearly 50 acres, the property features the historic homestead known as the Mizell-Leu House, the original part of which was constructed in 1888 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. View from the Visitor's Center. Love all the pics!
