The origin of my webcomic Tartan Hill. Centers around the Tuatha Dé Danann. In order to include them in my prologue I wanted to create an ancient Irish beach. I found a site where I could download Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data for Ireland. Once that was imported into Vue it was just a matter of painting materials on the landscape and adding trees. The people were created in DAZ Studio and imported into Vue. The roundhouses and the boats were modeled in 3D Studio Max and imported into Vue.

This is my rendering of the Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin, Ireland. The architect of the bridge is Santiago Calatrava. The shape of the spar and its cables is said to evoke an image of a harp lying on its edge. The harp is a secular icon for Ireland and things Irish. In developing my webcomic, Tartan Hill. I'm learning to work with Vue. You can view the work here. In addition to Vue, I'm learning to work with DAZ Studio. Here I have some of my DAZ Studio work, both for Tartan Hill. Hot Rod VW Thing.
