Found! – Loquacious D

I don't know your life. But here's mine. June 2, 2015. June 1, 2015. Monday afternoon, as I was getting ready to eat my post-lunch brownie, my phone rang. It was my mom. She’d just gotten off the phone with my aunt, who’s getting ready to return to the U.S. She told my mom that she’d called my uncle (who lives just outside Montego Bay), to see if he might know how to find out where my great-aunt Milda might be, since she was moved out of the nursing home in Montego Bay in late April. Um Wait. WHAT. Unite...

Island Bound – Loquacious D
https://dicampbell.wordpress.com/2015/07/20/island-bound
I don't know your life. But here's mine. July 20, 2015. July 19, 2015. My vacation starts today! And on Tuesday morning, I’ll be boarding a plane and flying down to Jamaica for a week. The last time I set foot in the country, I was 16 and my grandfather was on his deathbed. Admittedly, I’m a bit anxious. For starters, this will be the first time I’m going to Jamaica without any immediate family members. And then, there’s Aunt Milda. But, enough talk! One thought on “ Island Bound. PLOT TWIST. – Loquacious D
https://dicampbell.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/plot-twist
I don't know your life. But here's mine. May 24, 2015. August 2, 2015. As I may have previously mentioned, I joined a number of Jamaican genealogy groups on Facebook in hopes it might help me with my family research. Just over a week ago, the administrator of one of those groups posted an entry inviting members to share their “brick walls” – those ancestors whose research trails seem to have hit a dead end. Couldn’t hurt,. I thought to myself. But I’m not sure they’re. Next, she mentioned that she’...

I don't know your life. But here's mine. August 1, 2015. Sorry for the radio silence. I’m now back from Jamaica, and trying to (a) re-adjust from the oppressive heat down there, to the humidity up here and (b) re-orient myself back into some sort of routine. Have a great weekend – and for my Canadian breathren, happy August long weekend (if your neck of the woods observes it)! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Things to Do Before I Turn 50. 8217;cause life is not always peaches and cream. In at least one way we are atypical bloggers. That’s because we just keep on posting. Reading a ‘head-on collision’ | The Refresh Button
https://tasdaily.wordpress.com/2010/02/20/reading-a-train-wreck
Just a photojournal of a SAD-torontonian. So what is it all about then? Reading a ‘head-on collision’. Look what I found while browsing through the ‘book sale’ at the hospital for 25c yesterday. For those uninitiated, its the story of the last of the Bennet sisters from Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’,which is one of my absolute favourite books. Of course I had to buy it. Girls, I shouldn’t have. I really shouldn’t have. Why am I still reading? Someone take this book away before I finish it. And why ...
