Teaching in Ecuador: 2 days of teaching in the books!

http://www.teachinginecuador.blogspot.com/2011/05/2-days-of-teaching-in-books.html

Tuesday, May 3, 2011. 2 days of teaching in the books! So far we have put in two days each at our schools. There have been some triumphs and some challenges so far, but we have all stayed positive and we have all made progress at each of our schools. Today is my birthday! As promised last blog, here are some pictures from our awesome afternoon at the farm, catching, gutting, and cooking our own fish. View from the farm. Mi Aventura de Sudamérica. Follow me as I volunteer in a school in Quito, Ecuador followed by my first ever attempt at backpacking. Friday, 27 May 2011. A New Adventure Begins. So my last post talked about the last weeks in the schools, which was a bitter sweet ending for me: sad to leave the kids but excited Anik is now here and that I get to really experience this country! But it was worth it. By the time we got back to Quito on Wednesday, Anik was already here. He´d been staying in our hotel ...He&#18...

Right now we're sitting on the side of the road by the small town of Alausi. How did we get here you may wonder? We bused from Quito through Banos to Puyo. We met a couple from Florida here that also didn't have a hostel booked but had looked at a nice one online. Very  cute! They were so cute. except one peed on me!

Okay so I left off last time with day 3. Onto day 4 then! We started off in a little cove and saw more little sea lions. We kept close to the coast but I had the creeps because on one side was the coast and rocks but the other side was murky ocean. Plus it was super deep here. Mi Aventura de Sudamérica. Follow me as I volunteer in a school in Quito, Ecuador followed by my first ever attempt at backpacking. Sunday, 12 June 2011. It was White like fog but it was actually a cloud! When we got to the bus station we realised we had three hours to kill before the bus left. A lot of reading but it seemed to go by fairly quickly. One thing I have to say - the bus stop bathrooms are the only ones I've had to pay for and they have been the nastiest. Bleh! How different things are here&#...

Teachiing Indigos Home page

It is now 2015, and in the thirteen years that this web site has been on the Internet, there has been a bloom of information regarding Indigo children. I have personally noticed the changes and been a part of the transformations. We are all making transformations in our lives, with or without Indigo energy. My intial question still stands, Ever notice how different the children of today, are different from when you were a child? These children just seem to know it all, are self assured, fearless to the p...

Teaching Industries Inc.

Wednesday, 17 December 2008. Every philosophy is an ideological work based on beliefs and facts. I don't have a designed and coherent philosophy of teaching. But I do have some, say, facile beliefs and feelings. Some of them are quite common among people; some of them aren't. 1 Schooling as a formal institution is an antinatural demand. 2 Schooling, as it is known in today's societies, is both a product and a result of capitalism. 8 Contents have to match the students' stage of development. 11 Good teach...
