Our Life in the Windy City. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. IMDB and other miscellany. Maybe not. In that case, check it out and read on. A few weeks ago I checked back in and realized that (as I had joked. About in that post), Luke's profile has been updated to include a bio! Still no pictures, but that's alright with me. I'm so curious to know who updated his bio, because it wasn't either of us. As far as what else has been going on in our lives:. And we'll also be able to see this cute family. Http:/ tierney...

Our Life in the Windy City: A New Venture
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-venture.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Well, friends, I have something of an announcement to make. I started a baking blog! I have no idea what will come of it, but it's something that I've been wanting to do for a while now, and have been working on for a few weeks. I wanted to make sure that I was really committed to it before I let anyone know about it, so I have been waiting until I have a few posts up. Anyhow, without further ado, my baking blog. Good for you, Alli!

Our Life in the Windy City: June 2010
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Thursday, June 24, 2010. These few weeks are the longest real summer vacation I have had in a LONG time. I will be starting a full-time, nursing job in the middle of July (! But to have these weeks of freedom feels pretty amazing. So far I have let them slip by with few summer activities, occupying my time mainly with cleaning (incredibly, there has been enough cleaning/organizing to keep me busy for a week straight already), paperwork, and studying for the NCLEX. Go to the zoo.

Our Life in the Windy City: October 2009
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Monday, October 12, 2009. Well, it's the week before my Fall Break (ie. one Friday off from class), which means I've got lots of studying to do. Fortunately for you, my loyal blog readers (those who I haven't turned off by weeks of stagnation at a time), blogging seems to be the least time-consuming creative outlet available to me. So, let me finally tell you about Jamie and Joey's wedding day! We bridesmaids and Jamie all got ready in a (steamy) Plymouth unit at Pilgrim Pines.

Our Life in the Windy City: February 2011
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Saturday, February 26, 2011. Well, I haven't posted all winter, unfortunately. There hasn't been a whole. Lot to say, but I'm sure I could have come up with something. Work is still just okay, on good days (and just plain awful on bad days), and life outside of work is still pretty fantastic. Which (as the name indicates) used beer as an ingredient in four courses:. Cheddar, Bacon and Beer Soup with Thyme Beer Biscuits. Belgian Ale Steamed Clams and Mussels. I am pretty proud ...

Our Life in the Windy City. Friday, December 18, 2009. In the Christmas Spirit. Now that school is out for me, and work has slowed down considerably for Luke, we have had some time to decorate the apartment and get in the holiday spirit. The cats have also demonstrated enthusiasm for the season, and have been thoroughly enjoying our decorations. What, you haven't heard about the giant cat who. Our Life in the Windy City: July 2010
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Thursday, July 8, 2010. With Luke's busy work schedule, and my schedule largely unknown after I begin work on July 13th, Luke and I decided to take advantage of my time off and spend a night last week camping. Since I had never been to the Indiana Dunes, and it is just over an hour outside of the city, we thought we'd try that for our first trip. Our little tent amongst all the RV's (notice the Airstream on the left). Enjoying a Fluffernutter before heading to the beach. It wa...

Our Life in the Windy City. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. I took advantage of a new month's grocery budget (if you haven't used mint.com, you should check it out) by purchasing these beauties at Trader Joe's on Sunday. They have been worth every penny, and are quickly becoming a strong competitor against gerbera daisies for my favorite flower. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our Life in the Windy City: January 2010
http://tierneyhalvorsen.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Our Life in the Windy City. Thursday, January 21, 2010. This past Sunday, our friends Anne and Jed welcomed their new daughter! Luke and I were lucky enough to meet her just hours out of the womb, and she is adorable. Welcome, Ellie Jane! Tuesday, January 19, 2010. How I Spent My Christmas Vacation. When I started this post, school hadn't started yet. Now I'm a week and a half into my LAST semester of nursing school, for which I am both terrified and thankful. My Christmas break went incredibly fast.
