There are shows over Queen's Birthday Weekend down in the Domain in Havelock North. OUR CLASS ASSEMBLY ITEM. On Friday morning, at our Whole School assembly, Room 12 presented their assembly item "Room 12's ANZAC Story". One more week to go to develop and improve their skills even more. What a treat we had at our School Assembly on Friday morning. Glitter Text @ Glitterfy.com. Thursday, 25 June 2015. Weeks 9 and 10. Ellie and Sarah joined a group of conservationists on Friday, to help the Ngaruroro River become more healthy. They wore their gummies and got stuck in - they were very proud of their achievements. They planted flaxes, trees and bushes to help the creatures that live in the water have some shade, places to hide and also to help keep the water clean. THE RHYTHM OF LIFE". Room 12 was lucky enough to watch the dress rehearsal of this show.

The children experienced a powhiri, and then helped in the gardens. Many weeded and some planted. Everyone had the opportunity to toss some kowhai seeds into the Ngaruroro River. Glitter Text @ Glitterfy.com. Thursday, 30 July 2015. I was very proud of how well each child lead their conference. It is so fantastic to work with such keen children and supportive parents. Gold stars to everyone. This week the children had two skipping sessions with Emily from Sport Hawkes Bay. They had lots of fun and challenges. Their skills grew throughout the week. Skipping is an excellent fitness builder and will help with the cross-country running training we are doing. HAVELOCK NORTH HIGH SCHOOL.
