Peruvian Chica: prepared
http://gretchennoelle.blogspot.com/2009/06/prepared.html
From My Point of View. We are starting out with a bit of an overview of Galatians in this study. I remember studying Galatians from the perspective of false teaching, but I sense that this is going to give me yet another perspective. Even further out, we started with a visit by Paul and Barnabus to Pisidian Antioch on the day of the sabbath, visiting a synagogue. The rulers read from the Law and the Prophets and sent word to Paul and Barnabus to share a word of encouragement. Posted by Gretchen Noelle.

Peruvian Chica: today
http://gretchennoelle.blogspot.com/2009/05/today.html
From My Point of View. It's my birthday. A depressing sort of day for me. I mentioned that the day before my birthday is full of sad memories. Well, seems as though it only got more depressing. I got news today that my grandmother is in a full time care facility because her dementia was out of control. It makes me sad that she will never be the grandmother that gave hugs that hurt anymore. She may not even remember me anymore. I guess I just find that kind of sad and depressing. Posted by Gretchen Noelle.

From My Point of View. In considering the ways in which we must allow ourselves to be crucified. In order to identify with Christ, the one regarding pain stand out to me most. After spending the weekend at HeartChange. The group gathered around me. They prayed, they cared and they loved. Eventually, I laid down, took more medicine and felt better after some time. If I had not had that extreme pain, I would not have had the deep love. Interesting concept, no? Posted by Gretchen Noelle. 9 I must allow pain...

Peruvian Chica: ten years ago...
http://gretchennoelle.blogspot.com/2009/05/ten-years-ago.html
From My Point of View. Ten years ago today, I got a call I never would have imagined. Ten years ago today, the news shocked me to the point of me collapsing to the floor. Ten years ago today, I lost someone I cared about deeply. I spent Memorial Day at a BBQ in the park with a group of friends. After the BBQ was over, I visited some friends in their home, just to say hello. I cannot remember how long I stayed or what we talked about. But afterwards, I drove home alone. My dad explained that she had been ...

Peruvian Chica: Good-bye
http://gretchennoelle.blogspot.com/2009/11/good-bye.html
From My Point of View. I guess I write because I have a feeling that I will write here a bit more often. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing? Okay, so why are "we" talking again? I guess because I realize that I need to talk.to process.to think out loud if you will. There is just a good chance that I will need to talk and share somewhere and that place might just be here. Anyways, I just felt like I need to say that. I may be here more often. That's all. Thanks. Posted by Gretchen Noelle. Shoot ...

Sabin Saga: August 2008
http://sabinsaga.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
A couple that had to travel 10,000 miles around the world to meet. Monday, August 25, 2008. What family album would be complete without the ultimate bath time photos to show off to the future boyfriend or girlfriend. Anyhow, I think Rob got as wet as the kids did. And here's the double mohawk shot. Posted by Rob Sabin. A bad day fishing is better than a good day working, right? Here's the otter. Not so great a shot but he was a cute little fella. Sabin Saga: Ice Dam on the River
http://sabinsaga.blogspot.com/2008/07/ice-dam-on-river.html
A couple that had to travel 10,000 miles around the world to meet. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Ice Dam on the River. This is the Des Moine River completely frozen over in early March. And then a week later this was the same river. The ice broke up and formed these ice dams. This lasted for 24 hours. The river was clear on the next day. Amazing! Glad we took the photos when we did. Some of these chunks of ice were about 1.5 to 2 feet thick. And yes, this flag is in the middle of the river. Posted by Rob Sabin.
