What happens when we become parents. Saturday, November 1, 2008. Last night we had Trunk-or-Treat at the church. We had a good time. Sylvie was Darth Vader and Grace was a bumble bee. And we were M&Ms. The girls did pretty well. Sylvie wasn't too afraid of very much. Except one mask. Pastor Ron had an old man mask that had long white hair. Christianna and I were teaching Sylvie how to "listen to the ocean" in a seashell. Sylvie held the shell up to her ear and listened quite intently. Then with a gasp and a smile she took the shell from her ear and put it over her mouth and said "Hello ocean! We hit the pumkin farm again this year. This time Papa Alessi got to go with us. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Day when we went to Wichita but I won't gross you out with the details. Megan is doing wonderful. She had her 6 month checkup last Friday. She weighed 17lbs9oz. She is a very healthy girl! As for us, Scott is still working crazy hours at the ethanol plant, and I am just trying to keep up with his schedule. Boy we're exciting! Tuesday, November 4, 2008. How safe is that? Give a 4 year old a stick, blindfold him and tell him to swing it! The whole pirate crew. Megan thinks she is just as big as the big kids. Adam and Grant on the Pirate Challenge! We had a wonderful day for Adam's birthday. Its crazy that he has better weather (warmer) than Megan at her birthday. As if you can't tell our theme was Pirates! Scott and I were up the night before making swords out of cardboard and duct tape - and nobody killed anyone the next day!

Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Cooking for a month? Cooking. Amanda finds out her husband isn't going to be home till late so she takes her son over to my house for Scott to watch. Eventuall we break out the wine - it has been a really long day. So once we get done cleaning up her kitchen she helps me get all my food and supplies to my house and clean and put everything away. I finally set down at 11:30 PM! Seriously that is bulk cooking in overdrive. 35 meals! September 10, 2008 at 6:32 AM.
