How we got here. The Ridge is a social enterprise originally serving Dunbar and the surrounding villages but now moving outwards to also serve the wider East Lothian community. We were formed as a Community Interest Company in 2012, with the long-term vision of developing a social enterprise which provides:. Rural skills training centre, including horticulture and woodland skills (with links to the Dunbar Community Woodland). Restaurant and training centre. Meiklerigg Farmhouse EH42 1TF.

How we got here. The regeneration of the Backland areas is being funded by the Coastal Communities Fund and it has also received a grant from the Dunbar Common Good Fund. The Ridge is grateful for their support. We want to create a community garden space that provides opportunities for horticultural, hospitality and basic skills training, community growing facilities and a space for holding occasional community markets to draw people into the site and into Dunbar. How we got here. The Ridge Café at Bleachingfield provides a quality food service to centre users, as well as outside catering. It also offers valued opportunities in training, volunteering and a wide variety of community events. Local produce is used whenever possible, to produce tasty and healthy dishes. How we got here. Mary Darrah worked for 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical development and quality assurance in roles involving project management and team leadership with a focus on systems development and compliance. She has had global responsibility for developing and delivering training to many different audiences. She has been privileged to support both the Dunbar Community Kitchen and the Community Bakery as a volunteer and is on the Committee of the East Linton Community Hall.

Rdquo; encouraging all of us to sleep well. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the administration has the students’ interest at heart and wants the best for us. They just don’t seem to be doing much right (CNM majors, Y YU NO DO YOUR PART? Maybe we need someone to grade student welfare across tertiary institutions (on a bell curve, no less)?
