The Boyer Story: April 2012
http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 20, 2012. Life is filled with changes. I don't handle the big ones well. I remember my last piano lesson. It was sad. I cried when I left. I loved my teacher so much and had spent 30 minutes with her virtually every week for several years. It was hard. I remember going to college. I was only an hour from home, but I was homesick for days and days. I contemplated going home in the middle of the night on that first night. I remember moving to Michigan, 13 hours from home. It was SO hard.

The Boyer Story: The Lady I Call "Mom!"
http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2012/03/lady-i-call-mom.html
Sunday, March 18, 2012. The Lady I Call "Mom! What can be said about such a constant in my life? Someone I always counted on to be there. Someone I wanted to follow and grow up to be like. How can I begin to count all the ways she has encouraged me and uplifted me? What can be said of all the times I have laughed at her, and all the times she laughed at me? All the times I'm sure I embarrassed her as a toddler, and she embarrassed me as a sensitive teenager? Heard my parents fight in my life. Never!

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Tomorrow, I will see my friend. My college best friend. We were freshman roomates. We went through SO much together. We stayed close until graduation and still keep in touch! I am so excited to see her! Then there's family. Our wonderful families that we don't live close to. Our sisters we can't go shopping with, our brothers that we can't play basketball with, our parents we can't just invite over for supper! I wish we could all be together! Monday, January 23, 2012. You see, ...

The Boyer Story: Sermon in the Sink
http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2012/04/sermon-in-sink.html
Friday, April 20, 2012. Sermon in the Sink. As I was washing dishes. again. I thought of how often I wash dishes. Not a day goes by that dishes don't need to be washed. Now, days go by when I don't wash them, but I could wash at least 1 dish every day! Most days, it's a couple sink loads! They are dirty. The forks, the spoons, the plates and bowls. They get used. They serve and hold. If they are not washed, they can't be used again.ewww. Can I serve the Lord if I am dirty? April 20, 2012 at 5:53 PM.

http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. The (Eva) Joy of Our Lives. Our precious little Eva is almost five months old! That is so extremely hard to believe, considering the last two weeks of my pregnancy lasted three months! But nevertheless, she is such a sweet part of our lives. We love to cuddle her, and love on her. She gives us the biggest grins! It's amazing how such a little person, in such a short time takes such a big place! Little screamer, cute though she may be:. Dressed in her church bonnet:. Since we ...

The Boyer Story: May 2011
http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 23, 2011. Wednesday morning, we hopped the river taxi and took it as far as we could go. Then we hopped a bus, had one transfer and arrived at the Japanese Tea Gardens. They were beautiful. They're called "sunken gardens" because it was an old rock quarry, so everything is in a huge basin. It was a free attraction :D, and didn't take long to walk through. Ooh la, la! Cruising the San Antonio River. So Tuesday evening we bought tickets and rode most of the day Wednesday, too. :). This was my f...

The Boyer Story: July 2011
http://jboyerfam.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. So, we're trying cloth diapering around here. :) I have done a lot of research on the internet, and talked to other moms who cloth diaper. The primary reason is money. Diapers are SO expensive, but they are definitely necessary! There are SO many options out there. Some of the big names are BumGenius. Honestly, I would love to use these diapers! They are SO adorable! Then I discovered the Econobum. System. They boast "Diaper your baby for $100." So, hey, I can do that! It's very ad...
