1968 Coronet 500 Convertible. Mike’s Car Lot. My name is Mike Matenkosky and I guess I’ve always loved cars. Back when I was I kid I loved the may my dad’s ‘63 Corvette sounded. It just sounded bad . When I was a teenager, I remember looking at that ‘68 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible that was parked in my grandparents’ house. Oh I loved that car! When I started to drive I had to buy something cool . I settled on an orange ‘72 Chevy Nova 6-cylinder. What was I thinking? 8217;68 Coronet 500 Convertible.

The Merced National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) encompasses 10,258 acres of wetlands where Sandhill Cranes, Ross’ Geese as well as shorebird, songbirds and raptors live. Since I’m 15 minutes away, I frequent this place trying to photograph some type of wildlife or landscape scene. There is a .6 mile nature trail and here’s what I saw that afternoon….
