Now we are FOUR. Friday, August 14, 2015. At the end of July we spent a week in one of the best places for family vacations that I can think of. Sunriver, Oregon. Now we are FOUR. Friday, July 24, 2015. The kids have been taking swim lessons since the start of summer. And man has it paid off! Kaitlyn in her level 1 class (the very first day of class she let go of the wall twice and sunk to the bottom of the pool - bout near gave me a heart attack! But she learned quickly, and has hung on ever since! Her class is all about getting used to the water, putting their faces in, kicking, walking along the wall, doing bobs. She loves it! Swimming with coach Tanner.

Now we are FOUR. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Pink heart shaped pancakes. Kinda nice to have Valentine's Day fall on a 3 day weekend this year. Combine that with no snow in Tahoe, and we had no desire to head out of town. But we celebrated in style at home! The kids each got a book for Valentine's Day - with an audio CD attached, they are loving listening to books on CD. But maybe the cards were more of the favorite gift? And maybe we let them have a few M&M's after breakfast…. Good til the last drop.

Now we are FOUR. Thursday, August 21, 2014. First Day of School. Ryan started school yesterday. 5 days a week. At a real school! Crazy He's not quite old enough for Kindergarten this year, but there is a newer program in California called Transitional Kindergarten for those kids with birthdays from September to December, that didn't qualify for Kindergarten this year. Friday, July 31, 2015. It's always nice to get the boat out in the water, especially the first ride for the summer. Aotis handled his first boat ride with complete chillness:. Captain Arjen. All business. This year the weather was so perfect for boating, that even Aotis got to take a dip in the lake! And he got a chance to learn how to drive of course.
