Life with the Gerritsen's. Friday, December 5, 2014. Jeremy had a fun 11th birthday party. He had a small friend party on the actual day of his birthday and then had family over the next day. I attempted to make him a cake. Our neighbor Autumn Ellis helped me with the lettering. We went down to Uncle Paul's for a bike ride. It was quite wet! Jeremy and I went for sushi! He was in heaven! Present from Aunt Kim. Homemade card from his friend Jarron. Grandma got him new cups. Opening presents with family.

A few weeks ago the girls were upstairs changing clothes again (a daily occurrence that drives me to distraction) and came down in their swimsuits. Saturday, October 29, 2011. Our Halloween pumpkins for this year. An angry bird, a butterfly, a kitty. You shouldn't have to think too hard about which child picked which. They weren't too hard to carve but still took a lot of time. I did learn the new skill of 'etching' seen on the butterfly. Steven actually had this Saturday off of work. Hurray! Tuesday, October 20, 2009. We finally took our first real family vacation. We spent a full week in Southern California and I had to break it up into a few blogs to make it a little easier to view. The first part of the trip went fairly fast and I really did not mind it, but the part from Mesquite to San Diego felt like it took.
