Sunday, March 11, 2012. Summer is sunny, and fun, and more relaxed than the rest of the year, here in Lima. Schools are out January-February, and many people leave town - or at least take time off. The result is that traffic is far easier. And the city is much less crowded, with a calmer pace - especially on weekends. Come March, the weather stays lovely, but school picks up again and people return to work. Traffic goes back to its usual anarchy. The Costa Verde does look green on a sunny day.

Thursday, October 3, 2013. Sweet little Kate was blessed on Sunday and so many family members came out to help celebrate her special day. I was so busy taking photos, that I forgot to get one of me holding Kate, but I did get some of her darling little dress (Amy's blessing dress), and a few of her all ready to go. Amy fixed us a delicious brunch before the blessing, and it was nice to eat and visit before heading over to the church. Thanks to all the family who supported them! Happy Birthday Little Angel.
