Original Mediterranean Grill (OMG). A gyros oasis in a desert of chain restaurants. 788 Cleveland Avenue Southwest, New Brighton, MN 55112. Good value, plenty of meat, nice veggies, rooster sauce on the table, friendly place. While fairly pedestrian in appearance and taste, this one rated above average thanks to the addition of pickles, which weren’t even mentioned on the menu. Obviously I’m biased toward pickles and surprises, but it’s what bumped OMG. 8216;s gyros sandwich into above-average territory.
