With the busyness that the spring brings with it I’ve had a hard time keeping caught up with posting. I’ve been busy with school activities, new classes, Bible studies, and activities with friends. Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to:. No directions or tips? In celebration of Easter here is an old family video. View my complete profile. Royal Family Kids' Camp Boise. I was reminded today (by of all things a Facebook quiz) that my sister and I used to count down the minutes until Fraggle Rock would start. I think it was probably our most watched show, next to Saved by the Bell. Ah. memories. Caffeine makes me majorly manic…. The last few weeks I have had a very full schedule with extra work to do, friend and family get- togethers. On the way to school, a cappuccino at break, another Americano. On my first date, and a third Americano. The play was funny and the company...

Caffeine makes me majorly manic…. The last few weeks I have had a very full schedule with extra work to do, friend and family get- togethers. And a lot of house work to catch up on. This week I had another busy week planned so when two guys asked if I was available to meet for coffee I said yes despite the fact they both asked me about Monday. It worked out okay because one wanted to meet in the afternoon and the other in the evening. On the way to school, a cappuccino at break, another Americano.

Kate's Blog: Closet Purge
http://k8tspress.blogspot.com/2009/02/closet-purge_15.html
I’m down about 30 lbs since Thanksgiving and my clothes are starting to fall off of me. I decided that I would use my three day weekend to purge my closet of all items that no longer fit or are simply out of style. I spent time trying everything in my closet on and tossing out everything that didn’t fit… here’s the pile. Needless to say, my Valentine's day ended up being a very productive one. It's been awhile since I've blogged because I've been busy teaching and starting up the school year activities that fill my life. Although the busyness is crazy I enjoy the small funny things that happen each day in my job. I thought I’d share a couple with you. Last week my students did a vegetable lab. (Yuck! We all then took a few seconds to laugh at the irony of it all. I also had a student ask me how to spell CPR last week to which I responded, "C, P, R." She asked, "Are you sure? The first is a fli...

I saw this little clip on a craft blog I read. It is an advertisement for a publishing company, but I really enjoyed it. I probably liked it so much because I have a small obsession with books. (Note: It streamed pretty slowly when I watched in on my computer.). This Is Where We Live. View my complete profile. Royal Family Kids' Camp Boise. Day Five: Our Final Day-Camp 2016. I'm not an avid TV watcher, but I tend to enjoy it when the new seasons of shows start in the fall. I usually DVR the shows through the week and waste time on the weekends catching up on watching them. Here are a handfull of the shows I typically watch:. View my complete profile. Back to the Daily Grind. In the summer there are those occasional early appointments and church to get up for and it is during the summer that I am capable of waking up to a simple alarm (although it may require one push of the snooze button before my feet hit the ground.) During the school year though, it is a completely different story. Here is my morning alarm regime:. 5:20 am—The outlet timer on my bedside lamp turns the lamp on. 5:30 am—My Oregon Scientific Alarm clock. I wrote about how I was taugh...

Over the summer I was looking for a way to uniformly fold my shirts and decided I was going to purchase a shirt folder like they use at the department stores. Before I made any purchases I decided to do some research to see if I could make my own shirt folder and I came across a couple of tricks thanks to YouTube. All of my t-shirts end up being the same size after they are folded which means they neatly stack on top of each other on my closet shelf. It's a great concept and a cool tool to have. Here is ...
