I went to work this week and the librarian (a.k.a. my mother, conveniently) showed me the bee-bots. At school. I love them, I want one. So cute, so engaging, so useful. If you get the chance, use a bee-bot! Let’s make a video. June 11, 2015. June 20, 2015. Beach safety is highly important, and also useful in English…. For advice on engaging ways to do this and got directed to a website.

My re-introduction to the world of ICT. May 20, 2015. June 20, 2015. A lesson frustrating to me, but highly enjoyable for students. I found that students enjoyed using Doodle Buddy. On the iPads, but as they were not very good at using the app it was highly stressful for me as I was constantly undoing mistakes and instructing students on how to use different functions. I was stuck for something engaging to do when introducing information reports and the different type of language students would need to use (seeing as they had just done narratives) so I thought I needed to ask someone for advice. I posted a question the Surviving Casual Teaching facebook page. That used the IWB to look at formal and informal language.
