Wednesday, June 24, 2009. I know it's almost the end of June, but I need to play catch-up again. The end of the school year is always so busy and so much fun! Add in Mother's Day and my birthday and, well, it just makes it that much more. The last Family Fun Night of the school year is a Sock Hop. The girls had a blast dancing with friends and teachers, and doing crafts. Pike hung out with some middle school friends that had to come because of younger siblings, too. Grace and her best friend, Caroline.

This was not the typical Houston barely-there flurries that were last seen here 4 years ago. The biggest surprise has been how well Pike is adjusting to middle school. He absolutely loves it.it's "awesome".and I've been amazed at the dramatic signs of maturity in just 3 days. Not only is he selling the person, he is also selling accessories to go with the person! Here are a few 'orders' he has been working on. Well for some of you who don't know, My father-in-law fell off a cliff 1 month and 3 days ago! A 20ft. cliff! He survived but it left his body in a state of paralysis/shock/lung damage/broken hands and wrists/cut knee/ bruised spinal cord/ neck surgery and a great spirit!
