Dragonfly Dyewerx: Just Winging It
http://dragonflydyewerx.blogspot.com/2012/11/just-winging-it.html
Monday, 5 November 2012. In a dramatic change of events from my last post, this is what my backyard looks like today. Most of the snow is gone, the leaves are falling fast, and it is well above freezing. Yay! It seemed like a good time to snap a few photos of my most recent finished project. My friend dkzach recently knitted a super fun scrappy-stripey cowl. I cast on a whole bunch of stitches using the stretchy Cable Cast On. 5 November 2012 at 17:36. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tangle Knits: Almost There
http://tangleknits.blogspot.com/2012/08/almost-there.html
Knitting, spinning and dyeing. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. All I have to do now on my Calligraphy Cardigan is attach buttons. I'm done both bands, and I even wove in every single little yarn end. I don't believe I have another sweater upon which I haven't ignored a little yarn tail under the arm or at the back of the neck. I also found the perfect buttons at The Loop. I wasn't sure if they'd have quite what I had in mind, but it turned out what they had changed my mind. I'm easy that way. And all of these:.

De gustebus est non disputendum. Monday, May 30, 2011. One mile = 1760 yards. One skein of Wollmeise lace = 300 grams = 1722 yards. My shawl used 383 grams of yarn. 2198.42 yards. 1249 miles of yarn. Each stitch used 1/2 an inch of yarn. I'm not sure if my calculations make me feel better or just question my sanity more. The next project will be smaller because if I make one that's bigger, I'm going to need a bigger room to block it in. That is absolutely spectacular - this years stampede entry?

Being careful not to twist. Friday, October 18, 2013. FO Friday #85 - Its Fall, Yall. I cannot tell you how much I wish I lived in a place where I could get away with saying "y'all" in real life. Anyways, moving on to the knitting, I have hats! First up is his wee pumpkin hat. I made the two bigger kids pumpkin. By Susan B. Anderson. Q IS FOR QUYNN.
